Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job): This position is responsible for following all safety policies and procedures

• Providing good workmanship in a timely manner
• Decoration/redecoration of walls, woodwork, fixtures, buildings and other structures and performing minor fiberglass repairs
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age or older. Minimum of three (3) years verifiable trade experience. Vo-tech training will be considered in lieu of one year of experience. Valid driver's license and the ability to operate a manual transmission.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ability to work with minimal direction and supervision. Good communication skills and teamwork approach. Basic knowledge of fiberglass repairs, spray booth, and spraying techniques. Thorough knowledge of painting procedures and floor and wall coverings. Ability to properly operate special equipment relating to the painting and fiberglass repair trades. Thorough knowledge of tools and equipment of the trade. Ability to safely lift 80 pounds. Ability to conform to all working conditions. Ability to pass trade aptitude test.

Job Demands:

Working environment includes indoor and outdoor work in a variety of weather and temperature conditions. Must be able to work flexible hours including days, evenings and weekends, and holidays to meet the operational demands. Must work at heights in excess of 100 feet. This is a Union position and the work schedule will be based on union seniority. Candidates must be able to meet scheduled requirements, which will most likely require evening and weekend hours.
