Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and the ability to work on both residential and commercial projects. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Painter will be responsible for maintaining and restoring surfaces, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and client expectations. We will decide if you know how to paint No drinks or Druggies must have car and license Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary. Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Maintain and restore various surfaces including walls, ceilings, and fixtures. Perform trim carpentry and fixture installation as needed to complete projects. Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively for various tasks related to painting and finishing. Collaborate with other tradespeople such as masons or concrete finishers when required. Follow safety protocols while working with hazardous materials and equipment. Ensure that all work areas are kept clean and organized throughout the project. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial painting or similar roles is preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the painting trade. Knowledge of masonry techniques is a plus. Ability to maintain high standards of workmanship while meeting deadlines. Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills. Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
