Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter/Painter Helper to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paints, coatings, and finishes to a variety of structures, including residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your enthusiasm and commitment to quality will help us deliver exceptional results that enhance and protect our clients' properties. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals eager to develop their skills in construction painting while contributing to diverse renovation and maintenance projects. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primers to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and coatings using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless and conventional spray equipment), and other hand or power tools Interpret technical drawings, specifications, and color schemes to accurately execute project requirements Use ladders safely to access high or hard-to-reach areas while adhering to all safety regulations and protocols Perform surface repairs such as drywall patching, plastering, stucco application, and fixture installation as needed during renovation projects Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris following safety standards Follow safety regulations diligently by wearing appropriate respiratory protection and using safety harnesses or fall protection equipment when working at heights Skills Strong knowledge of construction estimating and project scope understanding Proficiency in residential, commercial, industrial, and structural painting techniques Skilled in surface preparation including drywall finishing, plastering, stucco application, and surface repairs Experience with various painting tools such as brushes, rollers, paint sprayers (including airless spray systems), power tools, and hand tools Ability to interpret technical drawings and color theory for accurate color matching and visual color comparison Familiarity with construction site safety regulations and proper use of respiratory protection equipment Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to coating quantities and surface areas Hands-on experience with remodeling, maintenance work, fixture installation, handyman tasks, or renovation projects is a plus Join our team if you're passionate about delivering high-quality craftsmanship in a fast-paced environment! Pay:
$15.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
