Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Painter to join our team and bring spaces to life through expert craftsmanship. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint and finishes, and ensuring the highest quality standards across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform environments, enhance aesthetics, and protect surfaces with precision and care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in a fast-paced, collaborative setting where safety, quality, and efficiency are paramount. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and other finishes using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, and sprayers including airless paint spraying and conventional spray equipment Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and surface preparation instructions to execute projects accurately Perform construction painting surface preparation including plastering, stucco application, masonry finishing, and renovation work Use power tools and hand tools effectively for carpentry tasks like trim carpentry, fixture installation, framing, and drywall finishing Conduct safety procedures in accordance with safety regulations including the use of respiratory protection and proper handling of hazardous materials Assist with construction estimating tasks related to material needs and project timelines when necessary Maintain a clean work environment by managing debris and ensuring all tools are properly stored after use Skills Extensive knowledge of construction site painting techniques including surface preparation and spray painting methods Strong understanding of color theory for visual color comparison and achieving desired aesthetic effects Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and renovation plans Experience with residential painting projects as well as commercial and industrial applications Skilled in the use of hand tools such as caulking guns, putty knives, brushes, rollers, power sanders, welders, and masonry tools Familiarity with construction estimating processes for project planning and resource allocation Ability to perform basic math calculations for measurements and material estimations Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction painting including respiratory protection protocols Experience with restoration projects involving plastering, stucco repair, masonry work, or renovation efforts Competence in using power tools like drills, saws, grinders along with airless spray systems for efficient application Join our team if you're passionate about transforming spaces through expert craftsmanship!
