Job Description
Assembler/Painter (AP) will be responsible for the in-shop assembly and painting of new construction pumps. Additionally, the AP will assist with inventory-related assignments as well as general shop-related duties, including clean up and building maintenance. The AP may be called on to assist with field service-related projects in the shop, and on rare occasions, assist a service mechanic in the field Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities Assembly and Disassembly of pumps in shop Painting of pumps Logging paint usage and filter maintenance forms Completion of comprehensive inspections of pumps and components; Identification of the cause(s) of mechanical/electrical pump failures & recommend corrective action Daily maintenance of department's equipment and tools Record and monitor each order's labor and material Ensure and control safety and quality assurance at all times Inventory functions, to include stocking, pulling parts, and conducting inventory audits under direction May be required to assist service mechanics in field repair Be environmentally conscious of work environment Adhere to inventory control and other company procedures as applicable Professional conduct at all times Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, or changed at any time at the discretion of management, formally or informally, either verbally or in writing Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $20.00 Per Hour
