Job Description

Slate Construction Group is a multifamily renovation contractor serving the Dallas-Fort Worth area. We operate across residential and commercial properties and hold our crews to a high standard of quality and professionalism. The Role This is a full-scope painting position covering interior and exterior multifamily renovations, unit turns, and custom finish work. The right candidate executes at a high level across all applications and holds themselves to a consistent standard without supervision. Strong performance opens a direct path to Lead Painter. Responsibilities To show up on time and provide high level communication to the clients and team Apply paint using brush, roller, airless sprayer, and conventional spray equipment Prepare and prime interior and exterior surfaces Perform drywall repair, texturing, caulking, and patching Select appropriate coatings and perform visual color comparisons Use hand and power tools safely and correctly Follow all safety regulations, including respiratory protection requirements Maintain a clean work environment and properly maintained tools Execute interior and exterior unit turns at pace while maintaining finish quality Apply custom finishes and specialty coatings as required by project scope Coordinate with the crew on renovation and maintenance projects Provide professional, courteous service on job sites Qualifications Reliable Transportation Proven experience in residential and commercial painting Proficient with airless sprayers, conventional spray, rollers, and brushes Skilled in drywall repair, texturing, caulking, and surface preparation Familiar with job-site safety protocols and PPE requirements Ability to read measurements and calculate material coverage Competent with hand tools and power tools Comfortable with full-scope multifamily work including turns, renovations, and custom finishes Able to sustain a fast pace without sacrificing quality Based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area Growth Path The right candidates will be considered for Lead Painter roles as the team grows. Pay:
$23.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 45.0 per week
