Responsibilities Use hand tools and power tools such as brushes, rollers, airless paint sprayers, and scaffolding to apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other finishes. Prepare surfaces meticulously by cleaning, sanding, plastering, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Execute residential and commercial painting tasks with attention to detail, including wall coatings, trim carpentry and fixture installation. Perform construction painting on new builds or renovation sites while adhering to safety standards and project timelines. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris responsibly throughout each project phase. Skills Basic math calculations for accurate measurements. Strong knowledge of color theory to achieve desired aesthetic effects. Experience in residential painting, commercial painting, restoration work, and construction site environments. Skilled in using hand tools such as caulking guns, putty knives, brushes, rollers; power tools including airless sprayers. Expertise in surface preparation techniques like sanding and caulking. Familiarity with renovation processes involving fixture installation and maintenance tasks across various building types. Handyman experience is a plus for versatile problem-solving on-site.
