In this role, you will assist skilled painters in preparing surfaces, applying paint, and completing renovation projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sites. This position offers an opportunity to utilize essential painting techniques, and construction skills while contributing to high-quality finishes that enhance buildings and interiors. Responsibilities Assist with surface preparation including sanding, scraping, caulking, drywall finishing, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion Support painters in applying paint using brushes, rollers, spray guns (including airless and conventional spray techniques), and other hand tools Handle setup and cleanup of painting equipment such as paint sprayers, power tools, and scaffolding or ladders safely and efficiently Prepare construction painting surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching holes, and masking areas for precise application Assist with finishing tasks like trim carpentry, fixture installation, drywall repair, masonry work, and general renovation support as needed Requirements Prior experience in construction painting or related handyman roles is mandatory; please only apply if you have prior experience. Ability to use hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers, sanders, caulking guns, and power tools effectively Basic math skills for measuring surfaces and calculating paint quantities accurately Experience with industrial or commercial painting projects involving spray painting or coating application is mandatory Strong attention to detail with an eye for visual color comparison and quality standards in surface finishing Good physical condition with the ability to stand for long periods, climb ladders safely, and perform manual tasks efficiently. Must have valid driver license and reliable transportatio. Must own your own paint sprayer.
