EMPLOYMENT BEGINS

PRIMARY PURPOSE
To aid in maintaining all facilities, entities, and related projects that need painting.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Certification:
High School Diploma or
GED SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
Demonstrate working knowledge of various aspects of painting and related repairs, including different types of working media and appropriate use thereof Knowledge of the use and care of appropriate equipment Ability to prioritize and organize work orders and scheduling to facilitate that such alterations and repairs are with safety and expedience not to obstruct a minimum of district activities.
EXPERIENCE
Working knowledge of painting and associated skills, with hands on experience.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Applying paint to surfaces including canvas, walls, floors, doors, and cabinets. Maintain, repair, and/or replace all internal and external parts of district facilities which are related to painting Mix, match, and apply paint, varnish, shellac, enamel, and other finishes. Assist other painters with painting needs related to equipment/projects. Maintain sufficient inventory of needed supplies and equipment. Maintain materials records per facility. Perform other duties as assigned.
