In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, painting, and finishing residential and commercial properties to ensure they meet high-quality standards. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and ensure surfaces are properly coated and protected. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from renovation to new construction, utilizing your skills in surface preparation, painting techniques, and safety compliance. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, patching, and priming to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality Apply paint using various methods including brush painting, roller painting, spray painting (including airless paint spraying and conventional spraying), ensuring even coverage and smooth finishes Operate power tools and hand tools safely to complete surface preparation and finishing tasks efficiently Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and color schemes to accurately execute project specifications Perform structural painting tasks on walls, ceilings, trim, fixtures, drywall, masonry surfaces, and other building components Maintain safety regulations by using respiratory protection equipment and adhering to safety protocols at all times on construction sites Assist with remodeling, renovation projects, fixture installation, drywall repair, plastering, caulking, and basic carpentry as needed to support overall project goals Qualifications Proven experience in residential and commercial construction painting with a strong understanding of surface preparation techniques Knowledge of color theory and visual color comparison for accurate color matching and aesthetic consistency Skilled in the use of hand tools, paint sprayers (including airless), power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and other relevant equipment Familiarity with construction estimating processes and interpreting technical drawings or blueprints Ability to perform construction site tasks safely while following all safety regulations including respiratory protection measures Experience with drywall installation/repair, plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, masonry work or fixture installation is a plus Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination; basic math skills for measurements and calculations Prior experience in renovation or remodeling projects is highly desirable Valid construction site experience with knowledge of safety protocol adherence Join our team today if you're passionate about transforming spaces through expert craftsmanship!
