This position is responsible for preparing homes and surfaces before painting begins. You'll help protect customer belongings, repair walls, sand surfaces, caulk gaps, and make sure everything is ready for a smooth, professional paint job. No painting experience is required, but construction or prep experience is a plus. We will train the right person who is dependable, works hard, and pays attention to detail. Responsibilities Mask and cover floors, furniture, cabinets, and other surfaces. Clean walls and surfaces before painting. Fill nail holes, dents, and cracks. Sand walls, trim, doors, and other surfaces. Caulk gaps around trim, windows, and doors. Apply primer when needed. Remove outlet covers, switch plates, and light fixtures as directed. Keep the work area clean and organized. Safely use hand tools and power sanders. Follow safety procedures on every job site. Work with the painting crew to keep projects moving on schedule. Qualifications Reliable and on time. MUST be able to lift up to 80 pounds. MUST be comfortable with ladders and heights. Comfortable standing, bending, and working on your feet throughout the day in differing weather conditions. Good attention to detail. Able to work well with a team and follow directions. Reliable transportation. Construction, drywall, painting prep, or remodeling experience is a plus but not required. What We're Looking For Strong work ethic. Positive attitude. Willingness to learn.
