We're Hiring! Join our team as a Full-Time General Contract Painter ✅
Location:
Hampton, VA ✅
Hourly Rate:
$18.00 (Paid Weekly) ✅
Schedule:
Monday
  • Friday, 7:00 AM
  • 4:00 PM The Industrial Painter performs duties necessary to maintain in good repair equipment such as bins, cribs, counters, benches, partitions and doors.
Work area may include cleanrooms, garages, offices, restrooms, and mechanical rooms.
Pay:
$18.00 per hour

Basic Qualifications:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
  • No experience required; on the job training provided
Preferred Qualifications:
  • One (1) year of similar work experience preferred Use a wide array of painting tools, including thin and thick brushes, airbrushes, and rollers to apply paint coatings ranging from latex, oil based, acrylic, and epoxy floor coverings
  • Paint large products in client facilities
  • Clean surfaces prior to layering paint
  • Maintaining technical equipment for the job and ensuring that it is in working order
  • Safely disposing of chemical waste
  • Ensure that high safety standards are met
  • Utilize different painting techniques based on the nature of the surface
  • Utilize special safety equipment such as painting goggles
  • Use viscosity cups and thickness gauges to measure the amount of paint to be used and the texture of the paint
  • Identify surface peculiarities and determine the types of paint required for different applications
  • Remove previous paint surfaces using masking or a chemical rinse
  • Paint small items and doing touch-ups
  • Ensure proper ventilation after the paint is applied
  • Utilize electroplating equipment to coat metal
  • Polish metallic surfaces
  • Paint over wood and plastic A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
