Attention to detail Full Job Description Arrive on-time for work Practice safe work practices Prepare surfaces Apply paints and other finishes to various substrates according to manufacturer application instructions Plan and prep work in an efficient manner Prepare the surrounding area by covering with cloth or plastic to prevent damage Move furniture and equipment as necessary to reach the entire surface of the project Calculate amount of materials and time required for said project Remove fixtures such as door knobs and light switch covers Taping off areas as needed Climb Ladders Carry Heavy Equipment (Including Painting Tools and Heavy Buckets of Paint) Ability to Stand for Long Periods of Time Attention to Detail Painting from man lifts Possible out of town work (hotel and per-diem paid weekly) OSHA 10 or 30 preferred
