Job Description

A locally based property management firm is seeking caring, customer-focused individuals who are passionate about their work and want a career where they can make a difference. Position Summary The Painter plays a key role in maintaining the quality and appearance of our apartment communities. This position is responsible for performing all aspects of interior and exterior painting to ensure units and common areas meet our high standards for safety, appearance, and readiness—all while staying within budgeted goals. In addition to painting, duties may occasionally include light cleaning and other general maintenance tasks as needed to support property upkeep and resident satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Prepare and paint apartment units, hallways, and common areas to company standards. Perform drywall repair, patching, and surface preparation as needed. Ensure vacant apartments are move-in ready within 5 days of move-out. Maintain cleanliness and organization of painting supplies and work areas. Perform occasional light cleaning and assist with minor maintenance tasks as assigned. Communicate effectively with supervisors and other maintenance team members to ensure timely completion of tasks. Follow all safety policies and maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Qualifications 2-4 years of experience in professional painting and drywall repair. Strong cut-in and roller application skills. Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship. Ability to manage time efficiently and meet tight deadlines. Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred. Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly rate: $18-$21 per hour, based on experience. Employer-paid health insurance. Dental insurance.
