The Painter is part of a maintenance team accountable for delivering on our commitments to our residents. This includes quality move-in, resident satisfaction, personal attention to our residents, and overall exceptional and timely service.
About the role:
Along with the Community Managers and Maintenance team the painter is responsible for painting apartment turnovers, common area painting and supporting the maintenance team with tasks and construction projects within the company.Duties & Responsibilities:
- Daily painting within the company
- Prepare vacant units for occupancy within a timely manner
- Ensuring completion within established deadlines.
- Help the team maintain curb appeal and general cleanliness of buildings and grounds.
- Participate in on-going property painting plans.
- Inventory necessary supplies for paint'
- Other duties may be periodically assigned by Supervisor.
- Must be reliable and able to work in a smoke free, drug free work place
Skills:
- Individual must have at least 1 year prior apartment/ interior painting and drywall repair
- Able to assess damage and estimate cost of repair
- knowledge of multi-family/rental home turnovers required
- Highly motivated, organized person with good communication skills is a must
- Appearance & demeanor must be professional at all times
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Valid Driver's license and clean driving record required
- Must be able to pass drug testing and full background check
Education:
