These positions are ideal for an experienced painter who takes pride in producing high-quality finishes while maintaining a safe and organized jobsite. The ideal candidate has experience working on both residential and commercial painting projects, is skilled in surface preparation and application techniques, and is comfortable working with a variety of painting equipment and access systems. We are looking for someone who is reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to delivering exceptional workmanship and customer satisfaction. Duties & Responsibilities Prepare interior and exterior surfaces by scraping, sanding, patching, caulking, filling holes, repairing minor surface imperfections, and applying primers as needed. Apply paints, stains, sealers, epoxies, and specialty coatings using brushes, rollers, airless sprayers, and HVLP spray equipment. Mix, tint, and match paint colors to ensure consistent, high-quality finishes and accurate touch-ups. Protect surrounding areas by masking, taping, covering floors, windows, fixtures, furniture, and other surfaces prior to painting. Clean and prepare work areas before, during, and after each project while maintaining a safe and organized jobsite. Set up, inspect, and safely operate ladders, scaffolding, boom lifts, and scissor lifts in accordance with OSHA safety standards. Operate and maintain painting equipment, including power washers, paint sprayers, compressors, and related tools. Inspect completed work to ensure a smooth, uniform finish that meets company quality standards and customer expectations. Perform drywall patching, texture repairs, skim coating, and surface finishing as needed before painting. Remove and replace damaged caulking and perform minor wood or trim repairs when required. Read and interpret work orders, project specifications, and paint schedules to complete projects accurately and efficiently. Maintain inventory of paint, materials, and supplies while minimizing waste and properly disposing of unused materials. Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, subcontractors, and customers regarding project progress and any issues that arise. Consistently follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude while representing the company on customer job sites. Requirements & Qualifications 2+ years of professional residential and/or commercial painting experience. Strong knowledge of painting techniques, surface preparation, finishing methods, and coating applications. Experience using brushes, rollers, airless paint sprayers, HVLP sprayers, pressure washers, and other painting equipment. Experience working safely on ladders, scaffolding, boom lifts, and scissor lifts. Ability to perform drywall repairs, patching, and skim coating (preferred). Ability to accurately mix, match, and apply paint colors and specialty coatings. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work, including bending, kneeling, climbing, and standing for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship. Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Reliable transportation. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus but not required. What We're Looking For Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
