POSITION PURPOSE

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Perform daily shift reports 2. Document all calls in master computer log 3. Follow all OSHA standards 4. Maintain interior and exterior finishes 5. Respond to guest calls and associate requests. 6. Assist in performing PM on all FF&E 7.
Assist in cost control:
Heat, Power, Light, Sewer and Water 8. Repair, clean, touchup and or maintain but not limited to the following: a. All wall coverings and finishes b. Ceiling finishes and textures c. Furniture, cabinetry, doors and woodwork d. Hvac air diffusers and grills 9. Ensure appropriate standards of conduct, hygiene, uniforms, and appearance are maintained 10. Must be able to lift and transport 50# loads 11. Must be able to work with ladders & scaffolding 12. Represent the hotel with professionalism and decorum 13. Make recommendations to his/her supervisor regarding improved methods and procedures so as to have a positive impact on guest/associate satisfaction. 14. Attend all required Engineering Department and other meetings. 15. Perform other duties as assigned.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
1. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 2. Wood refinishing and painting experience required. 3.
CPR, OSHA
10, scaffold training certification required. Delete 4. Previous carpentry and painting experience required. 5. Must be able to read and interpret documents such as MSDS, safety awareness information, maintenance instructions and procedural manuals. 6. Must be able to communicate effectively with guests and associates 7. Must be able to work as an independent painter 8. Must be able to analyze problems, identify course of action and implement solutions. 9. Represent the company in a courteous and well-groomed manner. 10. Must be punched in, in uniform and ready for work as scheduled. 11. Must be able to use and understand hand and power tools. 12.
