Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and energetic Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and protect surfaces from wear and environmental damage. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that require precision, creativity, and a strong understanding of painting techniques. Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and patching to ensure optimal paint adhesion Apply primer, paint, stain, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, airless sprayers, or other power tools Read blueprints and schematics to determine project scope and specifications for color matching and surface treatments Use hand tools such as caulking guns, putty knives, scrapers, and brushes to achieve smooth finishes Perform surface repairs including plastering, stucco application, masonry work, and restoration projects Install fixtures, trim carpentry elements, or framing as needed for comprehensive renovation projects Follow safety protocols on construction sites while operating power tools like drills, sanders, welders, or concrete finishing equipment Conduct quality inspections to ensure finishes meet client expectations and industry standards Experience (Not Required) Proven experience in residential painting with knowledge of color theory and finishing techniques Hands-on experience with commercial and industrial painting projects on construction sites Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics for precise project execution Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools including airless paint sprayers and welding equipment Knowledge of construction estimating processes and basic math skills for material calculations Background in carpentry (trim carpentry, frame carpentry), masonry, plastering or stucco work is highly desirable Prior experience with renovation projects or restoration work is a plus Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites along with handyman experience is beneficial Join our team if you're passionate about transforming spaces through expert craftsmanship!
