The Painter is responsible for maintaining the appearance and condition of the hospital's interior and exterior surfaces through painting, cosmetic repairs, and surface preparation. This role supports facility renovations, ensures work is completed safely and efficiently, and helps maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment for patients, staff, and visitors. How you'll contribute A Painter who excels in this role will: Maintain the appearance and integrity of hospital facilities by performing painting, finishing, and cosmetic repairs on interior and exterior surfaces. Complete surface preparation and repair work, including patching, sanding, priming, and painting walls, ceilings, trim, and other structural elements. Assist with renovations and remodeling projects to support facility improvements and maintain a professional healthcare environment. Ensure work areas remain safe, clean, and organized, following hospital safety procedures and infection control guidelines. Accurately complete required documentation and work orders in accordance with departmental policies and procedures. Support the Facilities team in maintaining a safe and orderly hospital environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork by assisting with various maintenance tasks and responding to facility needs as they arise.

• required. Trade or vocational school training in painting, construction, or a related field
• preferred. Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a painter or painter's helper. Valid driver's license
• required.

Knowledge of painting techniques and surface preparation, including patching, sanding, priming, and finishing. Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
