Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Pipefitter to join our dynamic construction and manufacturing teams. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, maintaining, and repairing piping systems across various projects. Your expertise will ensure that all piping work adheres to safety standards, codes, and specifications, contributing to the successful completion of complex systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and pipeline installations. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble piping systems according to project specifications. Cut, thread, bend, solder, and weld pipes using
MIG, FCAW
(Flux-Cored Arc Welding), TIG welding, and other welding techniques in compliance with ASME codes & standards. Install pipe supports, hangers, and rigging equipment to secure piping systems on construction sites or manufacturing facilities. Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and pipe threading machines to prepare materials for assembly. Perform maintenance and repairs on existing piping systems by replacing damaged sections or components as needed. Ensure all work complies with safety protocols related to HVAC systems, pipeline installation, and general construction practices. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues using mechanical knowledge and reading schematics or technical manuals. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used throughout each project phase. Requirements Proven experience as a Pipefitter in construction sites or manufacturing environments with a strong understanding of pipe installation processes. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings confidently. Mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, calipers, and pipe threading equipment. Knowledge of HVAC piping installations, plumbing systems, and pipeline assembly is highly desirable. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe dimensions and system layouts. Familiarity with rigging practices for lifting and positioning heavy piping components safely.Pay:
