PIPE WELDING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Midstate Mechanical is looking for an experienced 6G Certified Welder to join our commercial mechanical construction team in the Phoenix area. We're looking for a skilled, dependable welder who takes pride in their work and can consistently produce high-quality pipe welds in a fast-paced commercial construction environment.

What You'll Do:

Perform 6G pipe welding and other required welding positions Weld and fabricate commercial piping systems Prepare, fit, align, tack, and weld pipe, fittings, and flanges Perform Stick (SMAW) and/or TIG (GTAW) welding Read and work from blueprints, piping isometrics, specifications, and weld symbols Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and project compliance Work closely with pipefitters, foremen, and field leadership Follow all Midstate Mechanical and jobsite safety requirements

What We're Looking For:

Proven 6G pipe welding experience - REQUIRED Must have active 6G Welding Certification or be able to pass a 6G weld test Commercial and/or industrial pipe welding experience Experience with carbon steel and/or stainless-steel piping Strong pipe fit-up, preparation, and welding skills Ability to read piping drawings and isometrics Experience with SMAW (Stick) and/or GTAW (TIG) Reliable transportation and dependable attendance

OSHA 10/30
