Commercial Pipefitter -
Fremont, CA Location:
Fremont, CA Pay:
$42-$55/hr
DOE Schedule:
Full-Time |
Overtime Potential Per Diem:
$100/day worked for qualified Journeyman travelers
Environment:
Indoor & Outdoor Commercial/Industrial Construction We are seeking experienced Commercial Pipefitters for projects in Fremont, CA. Candidates should have hands-on pipefitting experience and be comfortable working in active construction environments both indoors and outdoors. Responsibilities & Requirements Commercial/industrial pipefitting experience; 4+ years preferred for Journeyman-level candidates Ability to fabricate, assemble, install, and fit piping systems and pipe supports Experience with pipe erection, offsets, spools, hangers, and related piping components Ability to read and work from isometric drawings, P&IDs, blueprints, and construction drawings Experience using hand/power tools, torque tools, cutting tools, drilling tools, and pneumatic equipment Working knowledge of rigging practices, manual rigging devices, and pneumatic hoists Ability to safely operate or work around forklifts and aerial lifts Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding construction work Must be willing to work indoors and outdoors as project needs require Strong communication skills and commitment to jobsite safety OSHA 10 required or must be willing to obtain prior to starting Apprentice-level candidates with relevant pipefitting experience may also be considered Compensation $42-$55 per hour DOE + overtime potential. Qualified traveling Journeyman Pipefitters are eligible for $100/day per diem for each day worked. Qualified candidates should be prepared to discuss their commercial/industrial pipefitting experience, ability to read drawings, fabrication skills, rigging experience, and previous project environments.
