Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fire Sprinkler Technician to join our team of fire protection specialists. This role requires a hands-on approach, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Seeking experienced plumbers and fire sprinkler installers to help install exterior fire protection systems that protect homes and commercial properties against wildfires.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, test, and maintain exterior fire protection systems that are critical in safeguarding properties from wildfire. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to develop optimal system layouts for outdoor environments. Utilize tools such as calipers and pipe threading equipment for precise measurements and fittings. Build and rig piping systems according to specifications, ensuring all components are securely plumbed. Conduct solder welding tasks as needed for system installations or repairs. Conduct routine inspections and troubleshoot system issues to ensure reliability under wildfire conditions. Collaborate with project teams to execute timely and efficient installations. Adhere to stringent safety protocols and quality standards to ensure effective fire protection. Travel may be required for some projects.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in installing fire sprinkler systems is essential. Familiarity with welding techniques, particularly soldering, is highly desirable. Familiarity with local building and fire codes related to wildfire safety. A valid certification or license related to fire sprinkler installation or maintenance is preferred but not mandatory Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively. Excellent communication and time management skills. Relevant certifications and a commitment to ongoing professional development are advantageous.
