In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing underground piping systems for utility, drainage, and pipeline projects. Your expertise will help ensure the successful completion of infrastructure projects that are safe, efficient, and built to the highest standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing heavy equipment and precision techniques to deliver quality results. Duties Lay and install underground pipes for utilities, water, sewage, and gas pipelines using heavy machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, and excavators Read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and technical drawings to accurately position piping systems Operate heavy equipment including pipe lasers, forklifts, front loader trucks, and other machinery safely and efficiently Perform concrete forming and finishing work where necessary for pipeline supports or related structures Conduct utility locating to identify existing underground services before excavation begins Use welding skills to join pipe sections securely and ensure leak-proof connections Maintain a clean and organized work site while adhering to safety protocols at all times Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and forklifts in a construction environment Strong knowledge of pipeline installation techniques and construction site safety standards Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical specifications Skilled in concrete finishing, welding, and concrete forming processes Familiarity with utility locating tools and procedures for safe excavation practices Experience with plumbing systems or oil & gas pipeline projects is a plus Valid certifications in heavy equipment operation and safety training preferred Join our team to build essential infrastructure while advancing your skills in a fast-paced, energetic environment!
