• Ongoing Safety Training & Education What You'll Do As a CTS Pipelayer, you'll:
• Inspecting structure, locating and marking positions of pipes, connections, and passages.
• Inspect places where pipes are fitted together to ensure pipes are spaced out properly and according to specifications.
• Ensure pipes are fitted and aligned using grade rods or transit levels.
• Dig or direct the excavation of trenches, then levels and tamps the soil at the base.
• Cutting openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.
• Cutting, threading, and bending pipe to required angles.
• Assembling and installing valves, pipe fittings, and pipes composed of metals and non-metals.

What We're Looking For:

• Must have 4 years of pipelaying experience along with a valid CDL.
• Experienced in Power Utility and or Florida Power and Light (FPL) pipe installation is an advantage.
• Must have the ability to work extended hours including night shifts as required by the workload.
• Must be able to perform general physical activities common to the pipelaying trade.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to travel in and out of the state.
