Job Description
Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Septic Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining septic systems that ensure efficient waste management for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. Your expertise will help deliver reliable sanitation solutions that meet safety standards and client specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy equipment and construction tools in a fast-paced environment, contributing to vital infrastructure projects. Duties Operate heavy machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front loader trucks to excavate trenches and prepare sites for septic system installation Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and technical diagrams to accurately install septic tanks, pipes, and related components Use pipe lasers and utility locating tools to ensure precise alignment and avoid underground utilities during excavation Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks for septic tank bases or access risers as needed Weld metal components or fittings to secure piping or structural elements of septic systems Install pipelines using appropriate techniques for plumbing, oil & gas lines, or other utility connections Conduct quality checks on installed systems, ensuring proper sealing, leveling, and adherence to safety regulations Experience Prior experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, forklifts, and front loader trucks is essential Demonstrated knowledge of blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for construction projects Hands-on experience with concrete forming, finishing, welding, and pipe installation in a construction setting Familiarity with utility locating tools and techniques to prevent underground utility damage during excavation Knowledge of septic system components, pipeline installation procedures, and plumbing standards is highly desirable Construction site experience involving septic or utility installation projects is preferred Ability to work safely in environments involving oil & gas infrastructure or other specialized utility work Call Bobby at 727-600-5518 to discuss the position further.
