Here's exactly what we're hiring for: NCMC has two filter projects kicking off this Fall on the same site in

Panama City:

a $1.68M Filter Renovation and a $15M New Filter Construction. We need a superintendent who has done this kind of work before and can run both projects simultaneously if necessary. Bonus if you bring a strong Foreman. We're not looking for someone who has managed subcontractors on a CMAR or Design-Build job their entire career. We're looking for someone who has run their own crews, poured their own concrete, and supervised self-perform work on active water and wastewater facilities. If that's you, keep reading.

What the work looks like:

Heavy formed concrete, sheet piling and structural excavation. Process pipe and equipment installation. Misc. Metals, Yard Piping, Filter construction and renovation on active treatment plants. This is technical, demanding work on federally funded projects with real schedule pressure. What we're looking for: Based in or willing to stay and travel to the Panama City / Northwest Florida area Background in heavy civil, water/wastewater, or industrial construction You've poured concrete, installed process and yard pipe in a WTP or WWTP, set process equipment, planned and executed bypasses while keeping a plant active, and you've supervised crews doing all of it 5+ years of direct self-perform crew and project supervision on a WTP or WWTP. Not CMAR, not Design-Build where you managed subcontractors to do this work. True self-performance is what we do and what we're after. Comfortable with federal project requirements (Davis-Bacon, safety documentation, schedule accountability) What NCMC offers: 401(k) with 3% Safe Harbor Employer Contribution.
