•We are seeking an Experienced Pipe Layer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pipeline installation, heavy equipment operation, and construction site management. This role involves working on complex pipeline projects across various environments, including municipal, and commercial construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring precise pipe placement, adhering to safety standards, and collaborating with other skilled trades to complete projects efficiently and accurately. Duties Install underground pipelines using heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front loader trucks. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to determine pipe layout and installation procedures. Operate specialized tools including pipe lasers for precise alignment and placement. Perform concrete forming and finishing around pipeline installations where necessary. Conduct utility locating to prevent damage to existing underground utilities during excavation. Manage excavation and backfilling activities while maintaining safety protocols. Assist with plumbing installations related to pipeline systems in various construction environments. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure project specifications are met on time and within budget. Requirements Proven experience as a Pipe Layer or in a similar heavy construction role with a focus on pipeline installation. Proficiency in operating heavy equipment including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, forklifts, and front loader trucks. Skilled in blueprint reading, pipe laser alignment, concrete finishing, welding, and utility locating. Knowledge of construction site safety standards and practices related to pipeline work. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods. Strong understanding of plumbing systems and concrete forming techniques relevant to pipeline projects. Construction site experience with a focus on safety, efficiency, and quality workmanship is essential. Pay:
