The ideal candidate for our medical assistant position must have current licenses and certifications, experience working in the medical field performing general duties required of a medical assistant, excellent customer service and communication skills, and the ability to bring a strong patient-centered approach. Responsibilities:

v Provide consistent exceptional customer service v Complete basic medical assistant duties to include rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, venipuncture, vaccination administration, medication administration, injections, point of care testing, EKG, spirometry, etc. v Review of medical history and medical record reconciliation into electronic charts in Epic (EMR system) v Assist the providers with minor in-office procedures v Cleaning and maintaining exam rooms and equipment including sterilization of instruments and sterile set up Learn front office functions also

Qualifications:

v Experience working in the medical field v Familiarity working with medical equipment v Experience with EPIC preferred v High attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills v Certifications and licenses that apply
