Schedule:

M-F 6:30am-3:30pm (ish) Duties Operate heavy machinery such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front loader trucks to excavate trenches and move materials efficiently. Install underground utilities including sewer lines, water supply systems, stormwater systems, and sanitary drainage systems following blueprint specifications. Read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to accurately execute pipeline and utility system installations. Conduct construction trenching activities with precision while adhering to safety protocols and federal construction safety regulations. Use utility locating tools and techniques to identify existing underground utilities before excavation to prevent damage or accidents. Perform concrete finishing and forming tasks for utility structures when needed; assist with pipe laser alignment for precise pipe installation. Follow all safety regulations rigorously during construction site operations to ensure a safe working environment for everyone involved. Skills Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front loader trucks. Strong knowledge of pipeline installation processes for sanitary sewers, water systems, and stormwater infrastructure. Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately; interpret complex technical specifications. Skilled in utility trenching techniques with a focus on underground utilities installation and safety compliance. Proficient in the use of hand tools and construction equipment necessary for pipe fitting, concrete forming, welding, and utility locating. Familiarity with wastewater systems, sanitary drainage systems, sewer line installation, and stormwater management projects. Knowledge of federal construction safety regulations and adherence to safety protocol standards at all times. Experience with construction site activities including pipeline layout using pipe lasers and ensuring proper alignment during installation.
