In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining piping systems across various projects, ensuring all work complies with safety standards and industry codes. Your expertise will help deliver reliable piping solutions for industrial, commercial, or residential applications, contributing to the success of complex projects from start to finish. Duties Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble piping systems in accordance with project specifications. Cut, thread, bend, and fabricate pipes using hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, and tube bending equipment to meet precise measurements and standards. Install piping systems including fire sprinkler systems, plumbing lines, pipeline networks, and other specialized piping applications following safety regulations and industry standards such as ASME codes. Conduct soldering and pipe fitting tasks with attention to detail to ensure leak-proof connections and optimal system performance. Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols by utilizing proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), operating power tools safely, and following OSHA regulations during all phases of installation and maintenance, and vehicle safety Collaborate with team members on construction plans, schematics, and technical instructions to ensure seamless assembly and installation processes on-site or in manufacturing environments. Skills Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings related to piping systems. Mechanical aptitude combined with experience in pipe threading, fabrication, assembly, and installation of various piping components. Familiarity with construction site safety regulations, NFPA standards for fire sprinkler fitting, ASME codes & standards for pressure vessels and pipelines. Ability to use hand tools such as calipers, pipe benders, pipe cutters, rigging equipment, and power tools safely and effectively. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to pipe dimensions and system layouts. Experience working on construction sites or manufacturing facilities involving plumbing or pipeline projects. Knowledge of maintenance procedures for piping systems including troubleshooting leaks or system failures.
