Excavation Technician Looking for an experienced Excavation Technician to join our growing team. If you have experience in plumbing excavation, pipe laying, sewer/water lines, or underground utility work , we want to hear from you!

Meridian, ID Salary:

$22-$30/hr based on experience CDL Class A is a plus, but not required. Our Excavation Technicians work alongside our plumbing team on residential and commercial sewer and water line projects. You'll perform excavation, pipe laying, backfilling, site restoration, and equipment operation. We are also bringing in new trenchless excavation equipment , giving you the opportunity to learn and work with modern trenchless technology as we expand our services. Responsibilities Perform excavation for sewer, water, and underground plumbing projects Assist with pipe laying, repair, and replacement Operate mini excavators, skid steers, trenchers, and other equipment Learn and operate new trenchless excavation equipment Safely excavate around existing utilities and structures Perform trench preparation, backfilling, grading, and site cleanup Assist plumbers and other technicians on job sites Maintain company equipment, vehicles, and tools Follow company safety procedures and OSHA requirements Communicate professionally with customers and team members Requirements Experience in plumbing excavation, pipe laying, excavation, or related construction Sewer, water, or underground utility experience preferred Heavy equipment experience is a plus CDL Class A preferred Valid driver's license with good driving record Able to perform physically demanding outdoor work Strong work ethic and reliable attendance Willingness to learn new equipment and technology Flexible for weekends, on-call, evenings, and holidays as needed Must pass background check and drug screening Must be 21+ year old Benefits $22-$30/hour based on experience Work Phone Uniforms provided Medical, dental & vision insurance Paid Time Off Training and advancement opportunities Opportunity to work with new trenchless technology We conduct pre-employment drug screening and background checks, including driving record and criminal history.
