Full Job Description Job Title:
Pipefitter Monday - Friday, 50 hours. Some Saturday/Sunday work $34.00/hr + $100/day per diem Job Description This role involves working on-site at an industrial construction project in Richmond, IN, installing new stainless steel and carbon steel piping systems. You will install pipes, fixtures, and related systems in buildings and structures, ensuring that all installations meet applicable codes and project specifications. The position requires reading and interpreting blueprints, working safely around large equipment and materials, and contributing to the successful completion of new construction piping work. Welding skills are a strong plus for this role. Responsibilities Install stainless steel and carbon steel pipes, fixtures, and related piping systems in buildings and structures on an industrial construction site. Read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings to plan and execute accurate pipe layouts and installations. Follow applicable building codes, safety regulations, and project specifications to ensure systems are properly installed and functioning. Perform pipe fitting tasks including measuring, cutting, threading, assembling, and securing pipes and fittings. Assist with pipe installation activities such as routing, supporting, and testing piping systems as required. Essential Skills 3-5+ years of pipefitting experience in industrial environments. Strong pipe fitting skills, including measuring, cutting, threading, fitting, and installing piping systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents for piping layouts and installations. Experience with industrial piping installation and construction site practices. Knowledge of building codes and standards related to pipe installation and safety. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Indianapolis, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $34.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
