Excavation / Industrial Technician Job Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Equipment Operator to safely and efficiently operate construction equipment on job sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a strong focus on safety, and experience working in site utility construction environments. Key Responsibilities Operate equipment such as excavators, mini excavators, skidsteers, and packers. Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance Assist with site utility installation, including water and sewer systems Work safely around underground utilities and interpret utility locates Follow project plans, grade stakes, and supervisor instructions Load, move, and place materials as required Communicate effectively with ground crews, foremen, and supervisors Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience operating construction equipment Valid driver's license required Ability to read and understand construction plans and utility layouts Strong knowledge of job site safety procedures Mechanical aptitude and ability to identify equipment issues Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Physically capable of performing job duties Preferred Qualifications Site utility experience preferred Experience installing water and sewer infrastructure CDL (preferred but not required)
