Job Description
The Pipelayer is responsible for laying and joining concrete, plastic, or cast-iron pipe for drains, sewers, and water mains. This includes rigging pipe for hoisting, setting pipe to grade and affixing the pipe joint. Also responsible for preparing and grading the trenches either manually or by communicating with onsite equipment operators. This position requires manual labor as well as assisting other trades to the extent necessary with hands-on work.
