T he Pipefitter Fabricator lays out, fabricates, prepares, and checks pipe against job specifications for assembly at the jobsite. Non-exempt role; Reports to the Foreman; Assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently. 40 hours a week, no per diem Local candidates only

Essential Qualifications:

High school or equivalent One (1) to four (4) years of experience in specified skill (depending on mechanic level) Basic knowledge of Pipe Fabrication hand tools Familiar with mathematical formulas for offsets May be required to create Field Sketch Drawings Some sites may require Forklift certification Post offer drug / alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the company Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy Comply with company and client job site safety requirements Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace

Functional Requirements:

Interprets spool sheet diagrams to determine size, shapes and angles of required pipes, pipe fittings, flanges, etc., Plans sequence of fabrication, Measures and cuts pipe, Cleans and prepares pipe by grinding, bending and threading pipe - may operate bending machine, Assembles and joins pipe and pipe fittings, May operate hydraulic lift to relocate pipe, Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction. Compensation Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience. Physical Involvement:
