PSS LLC is currently hiring Pipefitters with shop fabrication experience to supplement our client's fabrication workload at their facility in Walker, LA. The scope of work will include precise layout, cutting, prepping, and fitting pipe spools. All work will be completed inside a fabrication facility.

Pay:

$34 per hour

Per Diem:

$100/day if residence is over 60 miles from facility

Shifts:

10 hours/day

Duration:

6 months expected Must be able to: Lift and move up to 80lbs. Climb ladders and stairs. Read & interpret pipe isos, drawings, and specifications. Measure, cut, and fit carbon steel, stainless steel, and alloy pipe. Complete accurate butt weld and socket weld fit ups. Complete fit ups on the ground or in elevated locations. Pressure test piping systems. You must be able to safely and productively use the following tools: Tape measure Grinders & Cut-off tools Bevelers Cutting torches Pipe benders Threaders Wrenches Come-a-longs & chain falls
