ProCore Full Job Description Position Summary:
The Pipe Layer
  • Civil Site Work supports civil and underground utility construction, including water, sewer, and drainage systems.
Work includes trench preparation, laying and aligning pipe, installing fittings and couplings, setting structures such as manholes and catch basins, and assisting with backfilling, grading, and site restoration. This role works closely with equipment operators and may also operate small to mid‑size equipment as needed. Pipe Layers are expected to perform general labor duties, including spotting, trench safety tasks, material handling, and site cleanup.
Requirements/Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent relevant experience. 2+ years of pipe‑laying experience in civil/site work or underground utilities (water, sewer, drainage). Ability to work safely in trenches and around active construction equipment. Basic understanding of drawings, grades, utility layout, and pipe installation. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Procore, GPS Software and Hardware) Ability to read and write English. OSHA 10 Certification (company-supported if not current), DOT Medical Card (assistance provided), valid U.S. driver's license, successful drug screen, background check, and motor vehicle record (MVR) review per federal/state regulations.
