Join The Drain Guys The Drain Guys are a growing plumbing company specializing in sewer and underground infrastructure work, with a strong focus on trenchless pipe rehabilitation. We use modern technologies including UV CIPP and spray lining to repair damaged piping while reducing the need for traditional excavation. We're looking for an experienced, dependable technician who enjoys working with equipment, solving problems in the field, and being part of a skilled crew. What You'll Do This is a hands-on position that combines excavation, plumbing, and trenchless pipe rehabilitation.

Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:

Operating mini excavators, backhoes, and other equipment for underground plumbing and sewer work Assisting with or performing plumbing repairs and pipe replacements Preparing sewer and drain lines for trenchless rehabilitation Performing pipe cleaning, descaling, jetting, and camera inspections as needed Assisting with UV CIPP and spray-applied lining projects from preparation through completion Setting up lining equipment and curing systems, including hot water curing equipment Measuring, mixing, and applying resin products according to manufacturer and project requirements Inspecting completed work and helping ensure installations meet quality standards Identifying and resolving equipment, mechanical, and installation problems in the field Maintaining tools, machinery, and lining equipment Helping prepare, clean, and restore work areas Completing job paperwork, documentation, and project records Working closely with lead technicians, project managers, inspectors, and customers Helping train less-experienced crew members and taking on additional responsibility as your skills develop What We're Looking For The right person is someone who is comfortable working outdoors, operating equipment, getting their hands dirty, and figuring out problems when things don't go exactly as planned.

Preferred qualifications include:

Experience with trenchless pipe rehabilitation, CIPP, spray lining, or related underground work Experience operating a mini excavator, backhoe, or similar construction equipment Background in plumbing, sewer, excavation, or underground utilities Ability to understand and troubleshoot equipment and job-site issues Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail Ability to follow technical procedures and safety requirements Strong communication and teamwork skills Previous experience leading a crew or training other employees is a plus Valid driver's license Why Work With Us?
