Chesapeake Fire Protection is looking for a Fire Sprinkler Install Helper to support our Foremen and Fitters on construction and retrofit projects. This is an entry-level opportunity to gain hands-on experience while learning fire sprinkler installation, safety practices, and industry standards.??? What You'll Do
- Assist Foremen and Fitters with fire sprinkler system installation.
- Carry, stage, and organize pipe, fittings, materials, and tools.
- Cut, thread, and prepare pipe under supervision.
- Assist with pipe hanging, hangers, and sprinkler head installation.
- Support flushing, pressure testing, and system startup.
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow OSHA requirements and company safety policies.
- Participate in safety meetings and hands-on training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.? What You Bring
- High school diploma.
- 0-2 years of experience.
- Construction or mechanical experience is a plus.
- Basic computer and email skills.
- Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
