        firstclassmechanical Job Description As a Gas Fitter Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced gas fitters to install, maintain, and repair gas systems and appliances. You will learn to measure and cut pipes and install and connect gas appliances. Your duties will also include troubleshooting and diagnosing gas-related problems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards, and keeping accurate records of work performed.

        Responsibilities:
        • Work with experienced gas fitters to learn the trade and develop necessary skills
        • Install, maintain, and repair gas systems and appliances
        • Measure and cut pipes
        • Install and connect gas appliances
        • Troubleshoot and diagnose gas-related problems
        • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
        • Keep accurate records of work performed Job Requirements
        • High school diploma or equivalent
        • Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
        • Ability to work with hand tools and power tools
        • Good communication and teamwork skills
        • Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures and regulations
        • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation This is an entry-level position, and the successful candidate will receive on-the-job training and mentoring from experienced gas fitters.
