Responsibilities Install, assemble, and modify fire sprinkler systems according to construction plans, schematics, and NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) standards. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to ensure precise pipefitting and system layout. Perform welding tasks including

MIG, FCAW

(Flux-Cored Arc Welding), Stick, and TIG welding to join piping components securely. Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, calipers, and tube benders to fabricate and assemble piping systems accurately. Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on existing sprinkler systems to ensure optimal operation and compliance with safety regulations. Adhere strictly to safety protocols during all phases of installation and service work, including pipe welding, soldering, rigging, and working at heights on construction sites. Interpret technical drawings and schematics related to plumbing, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning), pipeline installation, and fire sprinkler fitting. Ensure all work complies with local building codes, ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) standards, NFPA standards, and OSHA safety regulations. Collaborate with team members on construction site tasks such as pipe installation, fabrication, assembly, rigging, and pipe threading. Maintain detailed records of work performed, inspections completed, and parts used for each project or service call. Experience Must have 5+ years of commercial fire sprinkler install experience (wet/dry/preaction) Must have valid drivers license and clean driving record Proven experience in commercial fire sprinkler installation or service work within the construction or manufacturing industries. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools, power tools, calipers, schematics reading tools, and pipefitting equipment. Skilled in MIG welding, FCAW welding techniques; experience with Stick welding or TIG welding is a plus. Familiarity with interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, construction plans, and schematics related to plumbing or HVAC systems. Knowledge of NFPA standards for fire protection systems as well as ASME codes & standards for piping fabrication. Prior experience working on construction sites or in manufacturing environments involving pipeline or plumbing installation is highly desirable. Ability to perform basic math calculations necessary for measurements and system layout accuracy. Strong commitment to safety protocol adherence during all phases of installation or maintenance work.
