Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Sewer and Water Laborer, where you'll play a vital role in installing, maintaining, and repairing essential underground utility systems. This energetic position offers hands-on experience working with heavy equipment and construction tools to ensure the safe and efficient installation of sewer, water supply, stormwater, and sanitary drainage systems. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to develop your skills in utility trenching and underground utilities installation, this opportunity is perfect for you! Responsibilities Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of sewer lines, water supply systems, stormwater systems, and sanitary drainage systems according to construction plans and blueprint specifications Use hand tools and power tools to support pipe installation, pipe laser alignment, concrete finishing, welding, and utility trenching activities Locate underground utilities using utility locating equipment to prevent damage during excavation activities Follow all safety regulations including federal construction safety standards to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members Support construction site operations by following detailed instructions for trenching, pipe laying, backfilling, and compaction processes Skills Willingness to learn, work hard and be consistent with a great attidude.
