Job Description

Compensation:
$52 per hour plus a daily per diem of $180. Your Responsibilities Assemble and mount piping networks utilizing diverse materials including steel, galvanized, copper, copper-nickel, and stainless steel. Execute the installation of valves, various fittings, and system components by strictly adhering to technical blueprints and arrangement diagrams. Utilize precision measuring devices, power equipment, and hand tools to guarantee accurate alignment and seamless installation. Operate within a shipyard setting, which involves navigating confined areas, working at elevated heights, and adapting to fluctuating weather patterns. Contribute to the overall efficiency of ship construction timelines by providing support across various operational shifts. Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by consistently upholding rigorous safety protocols during every assignment. Required Qualifications Proven practical expertise in pipefitting within industrial, construction, or maritime settings. Demonstrated capacity to interpret and apply complex system layouts, drawings, and blueprints. Proficiency in the installation and fitting of a wide range of piping materials and associated hardware. Commitment to fostering a culture of safety, high-quality workmanship, and collaborative team efforts. Essential Requirements Minimum of three years of professional experience in pipefitting within marine, petro-chemical, or industrial sectors.
