Job Description

Per Diem 150 per day Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated NCCER Certified PipeFitter to join our dynamic construction and manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing piping systems across various projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and industry codes. Your expertise will help deliver high-quality piping solutions for diverse applications, including plumbing, HVAC systems, fire sprinkler systems, and pipeline installations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects that require precision, technical knowledge, and a proactive safety mindset. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to determine pipe layout and installation procedures. Measure, cut, thread, assemble, and weld pipes using various welding techniques such as
MIG, FCAW
(Flux-Cored Arc Welding), Stick welding, and TIG welding to meet project specifications. Fabricate pipe components and fittings with hand tools and power tools while adhering to ASME codes & standards and NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) standards. Install pipe systems for plumbing, HVAC, fire sprinkler fitting, and pipeline projects in accordance with safety regulations and construction plans. Perform pipe threading, soldering, tube bending, assembly, and calibration using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precise fit-up. Maintain a safe work environment by following safety protocol adherence, conducting rigging operations safely, and utilizing proper power tool safety practices. Collaborate with team members on construction site activities including pipe installation, maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting mechanical issues. Interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately to ensure correct installation procedures are followed. Support fabrication activities in manufacturing settings when required by project scope or job site demands. Requirements NCCER certification as a PipeFitter is mandatory; proven experience in pipefitting within construction or manufacturing environments is highly preferred. Proficiency in MIG welding, FCAW, Stick welding, TIG welding, and pipe welding techniques. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, mechanical concepts, and construction plans. Ability to use hand tools such as calipers, pipe cutters, threading machines, soldering equipment, and power tools safely. Experience with pipe threading machines and fabrication processes including tube bending and assembly. Familiarity with NFPA standards related to fire sprinkler fitting and safety regulations applicable to construction sites. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe installation; understanding of ASME codes & standards is a plus. Construction site experience with an emphasis on safety protocol adherence; knowledge of rigging practices is beneficial. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
