Job Summary We are seeking experienced, skilled pipefitters to join our growing team. In this position you will be responsible for planning and installing all piping systems for our construction project/sites as assigned. You should have ample experience in welding, joining, and installing a variety of piping systems, as well as installing manual and electric safety valves. Essential Job Responsibilities Configure pipe systems blueprint and plan piping systems layouts. Ensure all steam, water, chemicals, or other liquids are turned off before working on the piping system. Precisely cut, bend, and weld metals such as carbon and stainless steel. Clean and clear debris and hazardous materials from pipes as needed. Install piping or tubing segments securely with welding or other equipment. Thread, weld, solder piping together.Minimum Qualifications Required:
3 years' experience as a pipefitter or pipefitter apprenticeship preferred. High school degree or equivalent educational experience; vocational school or trade apprenticeship required. Must meet all state license requirements.Preferred:
Accurate and precise attention to detail. Knowledge of local, state, and federal building code regulations regarding piping systems. Potential exposure to extreme cold and hot temperatures. Manufacturing, pipeline, and refining environment. Fit and move in confined spaces including tanks and vessels. Limited working surfaces. Exposure to noise above 85 decibels and intense odors. Exposure to areas with limited visibility. This role requires compliance with all applicable safety regulations, personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements, and Loenbro's Environmental Health and Safety (EH&S) policies.
