Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Pipelayer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience in laying pipes for various utility systems, including water, gas, and sewage. This role requires proficiency in operating heavy equipment and a strong understanding of construction site protocols. The Pipelayer will be responsible for ensuring that pipelines are installed accurately and efficiently while adhering to safety standards. This position is not a machine operator role. The worker is positioned inside the trench and serves as the spotter, responsible for guiding equipment movement, monitoring trench conditions, and ensuring safe excavation and pipe installation. It will be a secondary position to run machine.

You will be taught:

Sewer pipe lining Sewer pipe bursting Directional drilling Pipe boring Traditional open trench excavation Knowing any of these would be a bonus. Responsibilities Lay pipes for water, and sewage and indoor sewer Conduct utility locating to ensure proper placement of pipelines. Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks as necessary. Utilize pipe lasers for precise alignment during installation. Collaborate with team members to maintain a safe and productive work environment Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations on the construction site. Bonus Operate heavy machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and front loader trucks Driving a trailer with excavator CDL Class A License Qualifications Proven experience in heavy equipment operation is a bonus. Familiarity with pipeline installation processes and plumbing systems is required. Strong background in construction site experience is required. Ability to operate an excavator is a plus Knowledge of utility locating techniques is needed and working to shovel around existing utilities Experience with concrete forming and finishing will be an advantage. Must possess strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. A valid driver's license is required based on job location.
