The role combines hands‑on construction work, camera‑based inspections, and operation of specialized trenchless equipment in varied outdoor and confined‑space environments. Key responsibilities Inspect existing pipelines using CCTV cameras to assess condition, document defects, and determine suitability for lining Clean and prepare pipes by removing roots, debris, scale, and blockages to ensure proper liner adhesion and full pipe diameter restoration. Measure, calibrate, and help cut resin‑saturated liners to correct diameter and length based on project specifications Install liners using inversion or pull‑in‑place methods, then inflate and cure them with steam, hot water, or UV light to form a seamless new pipe inside the old one. Perform pre‑ and post‑installation video inspections and field tests to verify liner integrity, flow, and compliance with industry standards. Operate, maintain, and perform minor repairs on CIPP equipment, including inversion units, curing systems, remote cutters, pumps, and CCTV camera systems. Complete daily reports, production logs, and safety documentation, communicating project status to supervisors and project managers. Work safely in confined spaces and traffic‑affected environments, following OSHA, company, and environmental regulations. Skills and qualifications Experience in trenchless pipe lining, underground utilities, plumbing, or related construction trades is highly valued; many roles seek 1-2+ years of CIPP or equivalent field experience.
