Overview Lutz Jesco America Corp. is a leading manufacturer of chemical dosing pumps, metering equipment, and custom-engineered chemical feed systems for municipal, industrial, and water treatment applications. We are seeking a hands-on Pipe Fitter to join our shop team building reliable piping assemblies for custom chemical feed systems that meet customer specifications, drawings, and industry standards. Job Position / Specific Duties and Responsibilities Interpret and work directly from isometric drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to plan piping system layouts for custom chemical feed skids and related assemblies. Cut, thread, bend, and join pipes, valves, and fittings according to job specifications, holding dimensions accurately from the drawing. Work primarily with PVC and CPVC; learn to handle specialty materials including PVDF (Kynar), polypropylene (PP), and stainless steel. Install piping networks on skid-mounted packages and related assemblies, ensuring leak-free joints and structural integrity. Perform quality and dimension checks on completed piping assemblies before testing, pressure checks, and QC review. Collaborate with engineering and assembly teams to build high-quality chemical feed systems and resolve fit-up or drawing questions on the shop floor. Support fabrication workflow by pulling materials, staging fittings, and keeping work areas organized and safe. Follow company safety rules, PPE requirements, and quality processes when working with chemically aggressive service piping. Assist with hydro-static or leak testing, punch-list items, and final photos or documentation as requested by engineering or project support. Communicate clearly with supervisors, engineers, and coworkers on progress, missing parts, and drawing discrepancies. Specific Skills Required / Preferred Mechanical aptitude, comfort with hands-on shop work, and a strong willingness to learn a specialized trade. High proficiency with a tape measure and the ability to consistently hold dimensions. Strong comprehension of fractional math for calculating precise material cuts. Ability to read isometric drawings and shop blueprints; prior blueprint experience is a major advantage. Prior experience with plastic welding or solvent welding of PVC, CPVC, or PVDF is a major advantage. Must communicate effectively with coworkers, engineering, and vendors on the shop floor. Basic computer skills for email, work orders, and simple spreadsheets;

exposure is a plus. Ability to work independently and in a team, manage multiple assemblies, meet deadlines, and set priorities. Reliable attendance, attention to detail, and a safety-first mindset.

Educational / Experience

Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school, apprenticeship, or technical certificate in pipefitting, plumbing, or related field preferred. 1-2 years of pipefitting, plumbing, or industrial assembly experience preferred but not required for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude. Experience with chemical handling equipment, skid-mounted process systems, or industrial piping is a plus. Must be able to stand, bend, lift, and work around shop equipment for a full shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
