Employment:
On-call W-2 position This is exterior field installation work, not an indoor service-plumbing or simple drain-cleaning position.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose standing water, erosion, poor grading, clogged or damaged drain lines, and improper water discharge Determine drainage routes, elevations, pipe layout, and proper fall; test completed systems for flow Install and repair French drains, curtain drains, catch basins, channel and surface drains, buried downspout lines, sump-discharge piping, cleanouts, outlets, and solid or perforated PVC Trench and excavate; bed pipe; backfill; compact; and restore disturbed lawns, beds, and hardscape areas Identify utility and site-access concerns before work begins and follow safe trenching practices Keep job sites organized and clean Explain findings and recommendations clearly to the project team and customers
Requirements:
Proven hands-on experience with exterior drainage, underground pipe, excavation, waterproofing, landscaping, plumbing, or related site work Strong understanding of slope, grade, drainage flow, elevations, pipe routing, and outlet placement Ability to complete durable installations rather than temporary patches Comfortable using trenching, compaction, pipe-cutting, and layout tools Reliable transportation to changing job sites Able to repeatedly lift 50 pounds and perform physical outdoor work, including digging and kneeling, in changing weather, with or without reasonable accommodation Dependable, punctual, safety-minded, and professional with customers Relevant licenses or certifications where required by the assigned project scope
Preferred:
